Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
Our theme is Happy Birthday! Of course we'll be highlighting our own Simon Says Stamp products!
My first card uses this lovely Modern Flowers Card Wrap die, along with some Distress Oxide inks. I love the intricacy of this design!
supplies: white, black, and Green Apple card stock, Bristol paper, Modern Flowers Card Wrap die, sentiment from Brush Stroke Messages, flowers and leaves are Tammy Tutterow's Bitty Posies dies, Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin distress oxide inks, sponging tool, white embossing powder, pearls
I cut the die twice from white cardstock, then put the halves together over a panel of sponged oxide inks and covered the seam with a sentiment strip. I used some leftovers from that inked panel to cut my bitty posies.
Next I used the die to wrap a simple top-folding white card and embellished it with some ribbon and a Prima rose:
supplies: white and rose card stock, Modern Flowers Card Wrap die, Big Scripty Greetings sentiment, Altenew Puffy Heart ink, Prima rose and leaves from Rose Quartz collection, Kaiser pink pearls, pink satin ribbon
I used the die to cut each end of a long rectangle; the die also embosses a fold line to make the wrap. The wrap is tied together in the front with a bow by threading the ribbon through an opening on each side of the lacy half-circle. Then I attached the flower and leaves. The wrap is loose enough to allow the card to be pulled out and put back. Wouldn't this make a lovely wedding card when cut from a metallic cream paper?
Now it's your turn! Heidi has provided NINE $50.00 gift vouchers
