The Craft's Meow November Release Preview Day 4: Zoom Goes My Heart

Welcome back to our final preview of another new stamp set release at The Craft's Meow Store!

The Craft's Meow

This is another set by Karen Baker called Zoom Goes My Heart and it's packed with automotive motifs and sentiments that will be sure to please the men in our lives when we make them a card for Valentine's Day or any other occasion!  Here's my card using just a few of the elements in this really large set.

I first used a mask and some spray to make my background circular design, then stamped the speedometer in the center, and added 2 of the sentiments from the set, roughed up the edges of my panel, added a gem heart, and attached it to a red card.

Please visit The Craft's Meow to see my teamies' takes on this unique set, and leave a comment by 9 PM PST tonight to have a chance to win this new Zoom Goes My Heart set!  And please come back tomorrow for the full reveal of all 4 new sets for our November release, along with a blog hop showcasing them (and a chance to win ALL FOUR new sets)!

The Craft's Meow November Release Preview Day 3: Beautiful Shelf

Welcome back!  It's day 3 of  The Craft's Meow November stamp previews!

The Craft's Meow

Today we're working with a stamp set designed by Nina B, called Beautiful Shelf.  Here's my  card for today:

I couldn't help myself; with that quilt, I just had to go "country" with this one!  The shelf was stamped on some woodgrain paper, and the darling little quilt was colored up in peaches, greens, and country blues.  Both were cut out and added on top of my country wallpaper, and I used a sentiment from the original Stitched Sentiments set to make what I hope looks like wood letter blocks to stand on the top of the shelf.

Please go on over to The Craft's Meow blog to see what the other Design Team members did today - I promise you'll be wowed!  If you leave a comment there by 9 PM PST this evening, you'll have a chance to win this new Beautiful Shelf set!  We have 1 more set to introduce tomorrow, and then all of the new stamps will be ready to purchase on Friday after our traditional blog hop - see you then!

The Craft's Meow November Release Preview Day 2: Stitched Sentiments II

The Craft's Meow

Hello again, and welcome to the 2nd day of our November release of The Craft's Meow stamps!  Today our stamp set is called Stitched Sentiments Two, and it's exactly what it says, a second set of stitched sentiments, designed by Nina B!

For my first card, I used a flower and some leaves from the Stitched Flowers set, also by Nina, and paper-pieced them with papers from doodlebug design's Sugar & Spice collection.   I embossed my card base with a little flower folder by Sizzix.   My sentiment is just one from the new set which includes 6 other sentiments.

Here's my 2nd card, using a Christmas sentiment from the new set:

This one uses papers from Basic Grey's Aspen Frost collection, a Nesties Labels 20 die, some glittered snowflakes and a red pearl - really quick card to make!

I hope you'll visit The Craft's Meow Blog today and the rest of the week to see lots of ideas from the Design Team using this new set, plus 3 others.  While you're there, don't forget to leave a comment by 9 PM PST to win this new Stitched Sentiments 2 set!!  See you tomorrow for another preview!

The Craft's Meow Release Preview Day 2

Photobucket

Welcome to our 2nd day of the newest Christmas releases from The Craft's Meow!  Today I have 2 more sets to show you;  they are called Winter Fibi and Lilly and Christmas Cheer, both designed by Mabelle R-O.  And Christmas Cheer will be our free gift with a $50.00 purchase this month!  Let's get started.

First up I made a little snowflake ornament using 1 of the 3 adorable images from the Winter Fibi and Lilly set.  Angel Lilly was stamped twice, once on white cardstock and again on a scrap of snowflake paper for her dress.  I added a little color to her face and paws, and glittered her wings and halo using a glue pen and some fine glitter.  I think this will really twinkle when put near a light on the Christmas tree.

After piecing on her dress, I cut her into a circle with my Nestabilities circle die, framed it with a scalloped circle in blue, and then with 2 Nesties Fleur De Lis pendants.  (I have always thought that the pendant looks like a snowflake)  I stamped some small snowflakes in the background, added a gingham ribbon as a hanger and I was finished.  This will probably go to my little granddaughter for her tree in Texas.

Next up is my card using just a few of the images from Christmas Cheer:

I stamped a panel using the peace bird, piecing the leaf, with one of the sentiments and a snowflake/star.  That panel was framed up in red, and added to some panels from Authentique's Festive paper pad.  I added a green grosgrain stitched ribbon and some red metallic accents.

If you'd like to see more card samples using these 2 sets, please go on over to The Craft's Meow blog to see what the other DT members and our Guest Designer Emily Keaton did; don't forget to leave a comment there for a chance to win these 2 new releases!  And I'd love it if you visited me here again tomorrow to see the last 2 previews of this October release.

The Craft's Meow October Release Preview - day 1

Photobucket

Welcome!  Today we are beginning the October unveiling of the new The Craft's Meow stamps for Christmas!!  Today I and the other DT members will be showing you 2 sets: Christmas Angel, by Nina Brackett, and Hearth and Home, designed by Elizabeta Kushner.

I paper-pieced Nina's beautiful angel, stamping the wings and heat embossing them in gold embossing powder on a printed honey cardstock.  The dress and body were stamped in black ink; the dress on another marbled creamy design paper, and the head and arms on white cardstock, and colored in with alcohol markers.  Here's a closer photo to show the glimmer of gold on the wings and the subtle printed patterns on her gown and wings.

The sentiment is from Luke 2:14, and is one of several equally lovely sentiments included in this set.
And here's my card using the Hearth and Home set:

This set has many varied elements; I chose the holly branch and jingle bells, and the accompanying sentiment.  The holly branch was stamped 4 times on white cardstock, then colored with alcohol markers, and cut out, adding some Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries for some dimension and shine.  They were then arranged on the music paper along with the sentiment cut into a banner shape.  I stamped the jingle bells once on white, and again on a pearly gold paper coloring the ribbon on the white and piecing in the gold bells, before popping them above my holly.

Please pop over to The Craft's Meow blog to see what Guest Designer Emily Keaton  and my other teamies made with these 2 new sets.  You have a chance to win both these sets by commenting there!  I hope you'll come back tomorrow and Wednesday to see previews of 4 other Christmas sets!!  And on Thursday all of them will become available at The Craft's Meow Store.
