Snowflakes!

I'm always late to the party - just now trying out my first set of Concord & 9th Turnabout Stamps.  Why did I wait so long?!

I chose the Turnabout Snowflake set and stamped off a whole bunch of backgrounds.  You may see more of these down the road, but these 2 are my favorites this time.  Both of them started with a colored cardstock base, and I used VersaMark ink and embossing powders on each turn......

supplies: white, Cotton Candy, and glitter white card stock, Snowflake Turnabout background, VersaMark ink with silver, white, clear, and platinum embossing powders, Simon's Joy dies, MFT Blueprints 20 Scalloped Rectangle (retired)

Here's a blue version, using the same embossing powders.

supplies: white, Audrey Blue and glitter aqua card stock, Snowflake Turnabout background, VersaMark ink with silver, white, clear, and platinum embossing powders, Simon's Holiday Frames die, Reverse Confetti Snowflake Trio dies

These are easy to work with and the sky's the limit for color combinations!  You'll be seeing more Turnabouts as soon as the budget allows!

Simon Says..........Snow White

wed-newchallenge-header

Happy Wednesday!  Welcome to another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

Our theme this week is "Snow White" - you can put some snow on your creation, use lots of white, or interpret this as you like!  The DT are playing with Reverse Confetti this week - I made 2 cards using their Snowflake Trio dies:

supplies: white and Simon's fog cardstock (for twig wreath used as snowflake base), foiled and glittered silver card stock, Reverse Confetti Snowflake Trio die, Impression Obsession Wooden Plank cling stamp, Hero Arts Soft Granite ink, Simon's Stitched Rectangle and Chisolm Wreath die, Tim Holtz Holiday Words dies, white seam binding bow, light blue gems

I cut the smallest of the snowflakes from foiled and glittered silver card stock, and arranged them on the Chisolm Wreath, then added a bow and glued the wreath onto my planked background, edged in silver, then added my sentiment.

Here's a closer look - it sure is a sparkler!

Here's one more card, white on white this time, and it uses all of the snowflakes in this set:

supplies: white and white glitter cardstock, Snowflake Trio dies, another Tim Holtz Holiday Words die, Swiss Dot embossing folder, pearls, adhesive foam squares, white twine

Now it's your turn.  As always, we have another $50.00 gift voucher

Simon Says........Color of Love

wed-newchallenge-header

Welcome to another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

Our theme this week is "Color of Love", and we're playing with Reverse Confetti products.  I have 2 cards for you today, in very different color ways.

supplies: white cardstock, dp from Doodlebug Kraft in Color 6" pad, Reverse Confetti Garden Bunch (flowers) and Love Blooms (leaves and sentiment), VersaFine Onyx Black and Altenew inks (Rose Petal, Shades of Purple, Warm Sunshine, Frayed Leaf, and Forest Glades), Simon Stitched Circles and Scallop Stitches dies

I chose a multi-step stamp set and pink and purple inks, stamping several of each of the 3 flowers in the set.  The leaves and sentiment are from another Reverse Confetti set that I already own.  I used the older set on my 2nd card:
