Spring bouquet

Here is a little bouquet I just picked, using the tiny flowers blooming in our gardens.
There are 2 kinds of violets, the darker "wild" kind, and "Freckles", the white ones with purple freckles. The very smallest sky blue clusters are my perennial forget-me-nots, Brunnera macrophylla, and the medium sized ones, which have pink and blue on the same stem, are lungwort, Pulmonaria "Mrs. Moon".
This whole tiny bouquet is only 5 inches tall!! Aren't these miniature works of art?
This little cream pitcher is from a set by Villeroy and Boch called "Vieux Luxembourg". We bought some assorted pieces from the V&B factory in Luxembourg about 30 years ago. The pattern is still available through Villeroy and Boch here in the states. I love this pattern because of the blue, and because of the memories it brings back.

I am so jealous Lin! Those are so sweet and adorable! We have nothing in our yard yet except the vinca vines with little purple flowers. All the neighbors have tulips, daffodidils and hyacinths. This is a gorgeous picture and array of violets!

OH WOW, Lin! This *is* a work of art! So pretty!

Violets are one of my favorite flowers of all time. We have "Missouri violets" here in Texas -- gotta enjoy them while they last, because once it starts heating up they're gone 'til next year. Hugs! :)

Linn, on a side note, Do you have that set of dishes or just the cream pitcher? I ask because I own the set and several serving pieces coffee pot and tea pot. I have never seen, it I just have to ask. I bought the set 30 years ago, in Austria. Love the flowers also! LOL

You have beautiful little flowers in your garden. We have lots of the little blue and yellow irises growing everywhere here at the moment, with tiny daffodils (I mean a miniture version of the big ones) and they give off a most beautiful perfume. You have inspired me to make a little bouquet too! Thanks for sharing Lin.
