Vellum Flowers

Since these cards use both wet and dry embossing, I'm entering them into Caardvark's monthly challenge.
This is another of my new stamps from Hero Arts, called Stencil Flower.  After seeing all the lovely things that Heather did with a similar large flower stamp, this one was on my list of wants from the newest catalog.   Here I stamped it twice on a printed vellum, and heat embossed it with white.  I trimmed out a top layer, curled the petals a bit, added some pink pearls to the center and layered it over the full image.  I decided to layer that over an embossed pearlized pink panel, then onto a white card.

Here is a close-up detail.

And for my second try, I used a pearlized pink vellum, following the same steps I did above, but using Iris chalk ink and clear embossing.  The background is a Cuttlebug folder called Victoria, and that panel was layered onto a dark lilac card.
