Airing the Quilts

Last week on the Hero Blog, Nancy Taylor showed us lots of ideas using tiny wood clothespins.  I thought they would be a great thing to pair up with my little pieced and embossed quilts I've been playing with lately.  So I made 2 quilts, a log cabin and a churndash, hung them on a clothesline using the clothespins, and then designed a little scene around them.  Since the quilts are about 3 1/2 inches square, I used an 8 1/2 X 11 inch cardstock as my base, adding a picket fence and a birdhouse, some critters and flowers.  There just wasn't a good place to put a sentiment, so I inserted it inside the birdhouse.   Hope this little scene makes you smile!
The usual place that I take my pictures for posting just wasn't large enough, so I resorted to taking it from above.......please excuse this poor photograph.

Supplies:  HA CL377 Be Happy (grass, flowers, bee, and dotted trails), CL251 SparkleClear Birdhouse Tag, CL266 Mix & Match (sentiment), LL213 Holiday Dove, digital Flutterbies, CH114 Little Clothespins
