Everything but the Kitchen Sink Challenge #18

The challenge at EBKS is to use aluminum foil on a project!  Ordinarily I would have moved along, but since this happens near the 4th of July, my mind immediately went to fireworks, and then to this D'vine swirl embossing folder, which looks to me like a sky full of fireworks during the finale.  Then I looked for an image that I could emboss in silver, and decided on this flower, because it resembles a star.  So here's my patriotic card for this challenge:

I really like the way it turned out!  I added some clear gems to the tips of the flower for extra sparkle, and the red and white ribbon.......got in all the basic colors of red, white, and blue!!

Supplies: red, white and blue cardstock, aluminum foil, Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls embossing folder, Hero Arts CG128 Three Flowers, versamark ink and silver embossing powder, PTI Vintage Picnic (sentiment), Adirondack Cranberry ink, red ribbon, clear gems
