An Idea in Yellow

I ADORE this photo inspiration for Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger this week!  It brings memories of the houses in Maine (one of our favorite destinations) in the towns we've visited over the years.  Doesn't it look like the entrance to a cozy bed and breakfast home?    This is a wonderful shade of yellow; if I could paint our house, this would be the color it would be on the outside!

I went literal again, and the resulting card is probably one of the fastest I've ever made, once I decided on my design.  I used my new border punch to mimic the fancy grill-work on the doors, and fussy-cut the potted flower from a piece of designer paper I recently found, adding a bow of twine around the pot - I love that the flowers are heart-shaped.

supplies: white cardstock, BoBunny Mellow Yellow Dot cardstock, Pinecone Press Papers "Dig It!", Hero Arts CL267 Card Messages, EK Success double loop edge punch,  twine

Lin, this is so pretty, love the flower in the pot, and the sweet sentiment. You asked what color ink I used on the blue butterfly card, I used Ranger bright pigment ink in sailboat blue.
