Heart Moments - CAS Day 3

If you're visiting to see my Hero Hostess 2012 Blog Hop cards, please click HERE.

supplies: periwinkle and white card stock, Hero Arts CL129 Anytime Messages, versaMark ink and white embossing powder, Martha Stewart butterfly punches

In today's Clean & Simple Card Making class, Jennifer showed us a fun technique that layers die-cuts or punches for some fun dimension.  This grabbed my attention immediately and I had to give it a try!  Jennifer's sample card used 1 color plus white and I followed suit, using my favorite periwinkle blue.  This was really fun, and I know I'll be using this technique again!

Very, very nice. Dramatic in a subtle way, sounds like a contradiction but your card is great! By the way, the scripture on your profile is one I memorized when I was in high school - we called it THRPL, thats how we learned to remember it (the version we used had the words: true, honorable, righteous, pure etc. ) Just had to mention that :) God bless!

Great card, Lin! Love that periwinkle blue and the butterflies. Hopefully I can get a few more cards made for each day's classes. Don't seem to have enough energy to go around right now, though.

Enjoy your Florida days!!! Soak up the sunshine and keep those fabulous cards coming.
