Honey, I'm home!

Hello!  I'm glad to say that we are home, after an almost 3-month snowbird trip to Florida!  We had the best drive home, because spring is so far ahead of normal.  We saw the most "spectacular" (hubby's words) display of redbuds all along the highways, especially beautiful in West Virginia.  And arriving home, so many things were green and in bloom; it made it so much pleasanter than arriving to the usual grey/brown landscape.  So glad to be back to all my crafting supplies!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger.  Here is our inspiration:

I, of course, was drawn to the blue gingham ribbon and the raised embossing behind it.  Here's my take on it:

supplies: white cardstock, Making Memories Denim Gingham, PTI Beautiful Blooms II flower dies, button from Elise, (unknown) embossed frame from Carol, Verve sentiment from Bloom & Grow set, faded jeans distress ink, Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares to pop embossed panel and flower

Lin, that is just beautiful! But you must tell me how you were able to get that folder to emboss the paper so beautifully, with no cracks in the paper. Please??

We didn't have much of a winter here in Georgia and it looks as though we are not going to have much of a spring in that our temps have been mid 80s this week! Enjoy your spring :)
