Happy Birthay, Maria!

Maria is celebrating her 50th birthday today!  And her friend Shirley is throwing her a surprise party!  I was happy to be invited - here's my card for Maria:

I wanted to make a CAS card with bright colors.  I masked off most of my card front and stencilled the TCW Mini Flower Frenzy using picked raspberry and mustard seed distress inks.  Then I stamped my wishing you sentiment in Doll Pink.  To finish I die-cut the Happy Birthday from Doll Pink cardstock, and added some clear sequins to the centers of the flowers.

Hope you're having a fantastic day, Maria!  Happy Birthday!

I'm also linking this, at Donna's suggestion, to the Moxie Fab World Styling with Stencils Challenge.

This is fabulous, Lin! I love the combination of picked raspberry and mustard seed, and the contrast of the solid bottom border to the scribbly birthday die border. Thanks so much for linking up :)

Well, Lin, my day (weekend actually) was just delightful. Spent with college girlfriends. And the two weeks with my parents without the entourage was pretty cool too. And your card is so darn pretty. Has everything I love - pink and orange, die cuts, stencils, getting inky. What a great design putting the die cut sentiment up top. Thanks so much for joining my party. Maybe one day we can have a real one!
