SCS Color Challenge #494

I happened across this color challenge at Splitcoast Stampers earlier this week and thought the colors would be fun to play with.  Here's the photo inspiration:

and we're to either add flowers and make it a summer card or make a Christmas card.  I chose the latter and did my literal thing.

supplies: Simon's Doll Pink and Green Apple cardstocks and inks, charcoal and white cardstock, Hero Arts charcoal ink, Simon's Lots of Dots and Presents and Ornaments stamp sets, VersaMark and silver embossing powder for the sentiment

It was fun to try and make this design, and I think the colors are pretty right on!

Thanks for stopping by!

Great interpretation of the challenge pic Lin - very zingy and a fabulous, non-traditional Christmas card! Rx

Love how you stayed so true to the colors ! i think the sentiment says so much as to what the card conveys. You have a wonderful way to make a card unique. The bright colored dots and strips are so pretty against the gray background and silver sentiment.
