Autumn Words

I pulled out an old woodblock Stampendous stamp from 2012 - one of my very favorites for fall.  Here's this year's card using it.

supplies: cream, Burnt Orange, Dark Chocolate, Sunshine, Orange Peel and Lipstick Red card stock, Stampendous Autumn Words background stamp, clear embossed, ripe persimmon and festive berries distress inks, diluted with water and painted over background, Simon's Chisolm Wreath , Stitched Maple Trio, and Stitched Rectangle dies, twine, enamel dot

Today's card is a CASE of one from last year, just changing up the colors and supplies.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

What ink did you use to stamp the words stamp? Is it embossed? Would you please give a bit more info on how to make the background. Thank you. Just love the card!

Hi Anne, yes - I clear embossed the text background over a cream cardstock. After trimming the panel to size, I smeared ripe persimmon and festive berries distress ink on my craft mat, spritzed them lightly with water and used a paint brush to wash the colors over my embossed text background, and splattered some of the mixture on top. Hope that helps?
