Play Date Cafe Challenge #101

I was sorry to be away for the Play Date Cafe's 100th challenge, as it is one of my favorite ones, but I'm glad to be back in the swing of things and playing again for their 101st one!  Here is this week's photo inspiration - the colors are in the lower left-hand corner:

Here's my card using these colors and the feel of the inspiration photo.  I'm also adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge "Anything Goes", as these Tim Holtz stamps came from my win there last month:

supplies: parchment, brown, wine, and charcoal card stocks, Tim Holtz Papillon stamp set, Archiver's Vintage Sepia and Memento Tuxedo black inks, clear embossing powder, rusty silk ribbon, and a copper buckle (Spellbinders?)

I was drawn to the splashes of copper in the inspiration, and I was lucky enough to find this copper foil buckle, given to me by my friend Yvonne,  in my scrapbasket.  The Play Date calls the brown they chose "leather" and the brown cardstock I used for the card base actually has a leather texture to it!  I think I'll be sending this to a male friend who has a birthday next month.
