supplies: parchment, brown, wine, and charcoal card stocks, Tim Holtz Papillon stamp set, Archiver's Vintage Sepia and Memento Tuxedo black inks, clear embossing powder, rusty silk ribbon, and a copper buckle (Spellbinders?)
I was drawn to the splashes of copper in the inspiration, and I was lucky enough to find this copper foil buckle, given to me by my friend Yvonne, in my scrapbasket. The Play Date calls the brown they chose "leather" and the brown cardstock I used for the card base actually has a leather texture to it! I think I'll be sending this to a male friend who has a birthday next month.
