Hello Sunshine!

Another entry today for Moxie Fab World's Hip on Handwriting challenge.  I have had this Technique Tuesday /Ali Edwards Bring on the Sun stamp set for awhile, and always love bringing it out to use - love the mix of the fonts!  And I recently got this new Memory Box Texture Shine stencil, and thought they'd be a great pairing.

I simply centered the stencil on my card base, masking the lower portion, and sponged on mustard seed and some spiced marmalade distress inks, then lifted the stencil and stamped my sentiment.  This particular one is a favorite of mine, going way back to my college days........not a bad motto to live by, is it?

Then I remembered this cute sun from a company that closed its doors, called Our Craft Lounge.  So I stamped and cut him out and added him to the corner:

I'm not sure which of these I like - what do you think?

Thanks for coming by today - hope your week is a great one!

Fun cards, Lin! Love them both! Your shading with the stencil is beautiful and you definitely found the perfect sentiment!

I prefer the first one, but the second one is definitely a winner, too! Love the distress ink colors you used and that sentiment is such a good one.

Gorgeous card and saying! I prefer the card without the sun - it's so beautiful it doesn't need anything else!
