Here's a new (to me) challenge: Freshly Made Sketches. This one appealed to me, and I saved it earlier this week as a possible one to enter. I added, for time's sake, the additional requirement for myself to use up some of the scraps and leftovers from other projects. Here's my entry:
supplies: a tag made from a scrap of watercolor cardstock that was inked with an embossing folder and distress inks, Simon Says Stamp's small hello die, Avery Elle Simply Said Hello stamp set, PTI's Bloom Builders #3 dies, MME black enamel dot, and a Studio Calico paper clip with bow
This is a CAS challenge, so I fought myself to leave it as is........normally I would have embossed that background......but I sat on my hands. What do you think?
As always, thanks so much for your visit today - have a great weekend!

I like this card just the way it is! The flower is awesome. Great card! Way to go using up scraps!
Love it Lin. Those colors are so fresh and fun.
Lin, your card is a mighty fine beauty!
I think it is perfectly CAS; love that tag cut from the background!! Good for you to use up some scraps. There are way too many of those around my studio!!
It's really pretty, but lije you I would want to emboss the white card. Love the flower
This is great Lin - sometimes it's hard to know when to stop.... I find the CAS style is tricky for me and I just want to go another step or add just one more thing ;)
Your card is lovely though, just right for a CAS idea, and perfect that you got to use up those bits and bobs too!
Have a good weekend, Rx
Beautifully done, Lin!! I love it just the way it is. I have a pile of scraps, too .. how do you avoid that?
Oh my gosh, this is so gorgeous, Lin! It looks like pure sunshine, so the sentiment is perfect! Love the flower and the little bow, and the embossing/inking technique on the tag. Wonderfully created! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
THis is so very eye-catching, Lin! LOVE the bold oranges on the white card - gorgeous. The enamel dot is perfect in the middle of that flower too :)
So thrilled that you joined us this week! This is a lovely card! Clean and fabulous! Looking forward to seeing again soon.
