For this little tree, I only used 2 of the 3 branch dies, the small and medium ones, and about half of a skewer. Here's a shot of both trees; I used everything on the larger one and a whole skewer. The large one measured 10" tall by itself, and the smaller one about 5 1/2 " tall. It got smooshed further down it its little pot, so it appears even smaller than its big brother......
Each time I make one I learn something else.......for instance, I think I like the branches closer together. They were about 1/4" apart on the smaller tree, vs 1/2" on the larger one. I think at least I'd narrow the distance closer to the top next one I make.......
HERE's a video from Concord & 9th showing you how to construct these. I'm planning on making some pink and maybe silver or white ones, a la vintage bottle brush trees! And finding little objects to set them in will be another fun thing to do - I just used what I had around here this time. I think a grouping of 3 of these, varying the sizes, would make a fun little vignette!
Thanks for coming by!

those are the cutest ever - and i think finding little different containers like and old tea cup or sugar bowl would be darling.
Your trees look AWESOME! What great dies! I'm off to watch the video!
Super fun!! These trees makes wonderful home decor!!
Fantastic Lin, such adorable trees.
Brilliant Lin! They are so sweet and I can see a magical Christmas forest in the making here!
Thanks for sharing! I have none of this company's products yet...this die is too cool! The Christmas tree is perfect for the dinner center piece...not too big and not too small .I guess the small ones will make a good place card holder! (Ding!!)?
Lin, they look brilliant. I can just visualise them lining the driveway. Of course it could take a while being the size theY are. Would look great on the table at Christmas.
You're right, these would be wonderful for giving as gifts, they're very charming!! I've got my eye on Concord & 9th, they have some really great looking products!
Oh these are fun and I like them in the little clay pots!! Can't wait to see more Lin!!
How fabulous are those trees Lin! I think you have enabled me to take a look!

These are fantastic :)
Lin, How stinkin' cute are these tress that you have made?!? You are just so talented my friend! Many hugs, :)
Wow, Lin, these are gorgeous! I can definitely see these little lovelies being made in different colours (silver & glittery white, etc.), and they would make lovely gifts too! TFS
Absolute brilliant inspiration, Lin! I'm waiting for these babies to be back in stock; love your beautiful trees!
Oh Lin they are gorgeous! I got my die a few days ago and had time to try it today. Well it did take quite a long time due to my skewer being too thick and not having snail glue but seeing your little tree looking so sweet I think I might pinch your idea of only using the small and medium dies and see if I can make one quicker. Love your spool base idea too - you are still as clever and creative as ever! Gorgeous Christmas banner too! xx
