Roses and Forget-me-Nots

As soon as I saw the new Altenew Rose Flurries dies, I jumped - it has everything you need to make beautiful bouquets!  Here's my first card with them.

supplies: Cotton Candy and Desert Storm card stock, (retired) Doodlebug Rainbow cardstock assortment for flowers and leaves, Altenew Rose Flurries dies and Painted Greetings sentiment, Impression Obsession Wooden Plank, VersaFine Onyx Black and Vintage Sepia inks, Simon's Stitched Rectangle die

The flowers are 4 layers deep, which gives them a natural dimension off the card.  And they're all easy to assemble - what a great set of dies!   The only down-side is that now we need to find card stock that comes in 4 shades of each color........

Hope you're having a great weekend!   Sorry I've been missing in action this month - hopefully I'll be getting back to speed soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful card Lin...and you can always use a marker or ink pad to darken a sheet of paper to get more colors.

wonderful card, Lin - i didn't jump in quickly enough to get those dies when they came out so am still waiting:-( and run over to your local paint store and pick up some paint swatches and you'll be all set for lots of shades of one color!!

What a stunning card - do the dies themselves give the texture, or was it the paper you used for the die cuts?

That touch of blue on the Forget-Me-Nots looks amazing with the pinks and greens on your gorgeous card.
