A Basket of Rose Petals

Sometimes it's hard to come up with a title for each blog post; since I used  basketweave embossing and Rose Petal inks, that's what I'm calling this one!

supplies: kraft, pink, and white cardstock, Darice embossing strip, Painted Flowers, Rose Petal collection, Green Hills, and Grass inks, MFT Smile die

I still love these Painted Flowers as much as ever, and they look especially pretty in pink - the kraft background makes them even prettier, I think!  This Hero Arts brown paper bag color of kraft is my favorite, as opposed to the washed out colors I've seen elsewhere.  I ombreed, if that's a word, my sentiment with the same inks as I used to stamp the flowers.

Hope you're having a good day - thanks for coming by!

You know I'm a fan of everything you do with the Painted Flowers set and this beauty is no exception!! The pink and kraft is wonderful and I like the bit of embossing!

Oh Lin this is exquisite - love the ombre-ed sentiment and the lovely strong collur of the kraft base.

This is beautiful, Lin. Thank you for listing your supplies as I just bought the Painted Flowers but did not know what kind of ink worked best with them and I didn't have a variety of colors to use. So now the inks you used are in my shopping basket.

This is such a sweet card! The ombreed (it's a word now!) colors look great.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment!
