My True Friend

Welcome to my blog!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  We're having our monthly Blog Hop at The Craft's Meow and this time our theme is Friendship.  If you'd like to start at the beginning, go to The Craft's Meow Blog for a list of all the blogs participating.  Once you start there, you will be directed from blog to blog.   You should have arrived here from Jessica's blog.  Here's my card for the Hop:

It should be no surprise to you how much I love the Stitched Flowers.  This time I used one of the flowers and also the lovely stitched leaves, and chose a peach and green color scheme..  My sentiment is from TCM's Lark Additions stamp set - I adore this lovely font!  My papers are all from Graphic 45, from their Little Darlings and Secret Garden Patterns & Solids collections.  I paper-pieced the flower layers, using a solid for the bottom layer and a print for the top one, bending the petals up around the button I put in each center. After placing my flowers and leaves I sprinkled some peach and green buttons that are part of a Christmas gift from my friend Lisa Carroll.

I'm adding another card to this post so that I can enter the Tuesday Trigger challenge this week at Moxie Fab World.  This one uses the same Stitched Flowers set.

My sentiment is also a TCM stamp from Stitched Sentiments.  Here's the Trigger inspiration piece:

Now please hop along to Lindsay's blog - I know she'll have something really special for you.
And what's a Hop without a prize?!  After you've finished, please leave a comment over at The Craft's Meow blog by 8:00 PM Pacific on Tuesday, April 9 and a random winner will win a TCM stamp set of her choice!  The winner will be announced there on Wednesday, April 10.  Good luck!
