Hello, Gorgeous!

The current Runway Inspired challenge had me intrigued as soon as I saw it.  I tried the glitzy geometric route, and that ended up in the round file, and then I was testing out my new pad of Hero Arts butter to orange Ombre ink, and the resulting color got me started again, in a completely different way.  Here's what I ended up with:

supplies: orange cardstock for cardbase and sentiment, soft pearlized gold for background, embossed with a Darice folder called Multi Circles, Simon's Artful Flowers, HA Ombre ink, Poppy chalk ink and Ranger's Grape Soda dye ink, Wplus9 Hand Lettered Hello die and sentiment, Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder,  gold sequins

Here's the inspiration:

If you blow up the inspiration and look VERY closely, you can see a subtle concentric circle or maybe a braided design going on in the gold top and also in the pants - that's where I got the idea to emboss my background.  And the tilted sentiment?  .....from her tilted waistline!

Thanks for stopping by today - have a great holiday weekend, and don't forget the reason behind it!
