The original sketch had pendants, but I thought: "why not a flower garland?" So I made a VERY CAS design, just embossing the background in a trellis design, adding the fussy-cut flowers, and some tiny flower sequins.
Waltzing Mouse ladies, could I have combined both my cards into 1 blog post, or do they need to be separated?
Thanks for visiting!

Yep this is perfect Lin, our sketches are more of a starting point! Your garland is so very pretty! We love to see separate posts - but it's not a rule thing - it's just that I think sometimes you get more specific comments when you have separate posts.I know when I'm commenting, if a person has all four challenges in one post, it's tempting to leave one general comment, whereas if I got to separate posts I'm more inclined to comment specifically on that card. It's down to personal choice. So long as your link is specific to where your challenges are, and not just a general blog link - then you're grand. :)
So so pretty!!
That's one pretty garland Lin! Love your take on the sketch!
What a fabulous beautiful card.

Your flower 'banner' is just beautiful! Very pretty design!
Gorgeous flower garland Lin!
Oh, Lin, what a beautiful sketch card, and I love the flower banner! Yes, why not? Beautiful colors you've used, and I really love the embossed base. Your sweet little flower sequins are a lovely finishing touch! Hugs!
What company made the trellis embossing folder you used on your flower banner card?
Carol, that's by Cuttlebug, a big one called Wicker Weave. It comes also with an embossing strip.
Thanks and where did you get it? Did you get it from one of our local big craft stores? I live in the Akron area and know you live in the Canton area.
JoAnne's.
The flower garland is lovely and is quite the creative touch to accompany the trellis background. Just wondering, did you stamp the sentiment before or after embossing?
Christine, ALWAYS before embossing! It's just too difficult to get a good iimpression the other way around.......
A lovely card!
