More Monochromatic

I'm in a blue mood today, so I pulled out my new Watercolor Anemones and stamped them with my favorite Simon Hydrangea ink.

Purple Anemones

supplies: white and purple cardstock, WPlus9 WaterColored Anemones, Simon's Hydrangea ink, Wplus9's Hand Lettered Hello stamp and die, Simon's Stitched Rectangles dies

This really is a lavendar/purple-toned card, but on my monitor it's coming out a pretty blue.  Maybe it's my camera?  Whatever, I'm pleased either way!  The anemone set is a multi-stamp set; i.e., you can add detailing with other stamps stamped over each other.  Usually I choose different colors of ink, but today I just let the first stamping dry thoroughly and then used Hydrangea again to add the details.  It makes a nice subtle effect.  So for that reason I'll enter this once again into Virginia's Monochromatic/Ombre challenge:

  1. Gorgeous ink color here Lin. There is something wonderful about a monochromatic card, its lush.

  2. Oooo! Love this, Lin! So gorgeous!!! ♥

  3. very pretty Lin. The subtle colours of the Anemones is so lovely

  4. So very pretty, great layering, and purple is the color I love!

  5. Love this, it makes me happy!

  6. Love this monochromatic design with the various depth and dimensions! So glad that you join the fun over Virginia’s View “Ombre/Monochromatic” Challenge!
