Sunflower Fields

I'm just now getting around to playing with the stamp set from Simon's October card kit, which sold out in record time.  It has a lovely sunflower stamp set and stencils to color it with.

supplies: white, tangerine, and dark chocolate cardstock, Sunflower Fields stamp set and matching dies, natural twine

Many years ago we planted a pack of assorted sunflower seeds and were rewarded with a lovely collection of all colors and sizes.  We have tried several times since to grow these again, but with no success.  At first I blamed it on squirrels digging up the seeds to eat, but recently we started them inside, and they never germinated.  Such a disappointment!  Guess I'll have to be content with these stamped ones!

Thanks for stopping by!

So sorry for your sunflower crop failure, Lin! I always remember my grandpa's garden just loaded with huge sunflowers. Just love your pretty field of them on your card!!

Your sunflower situation sounds like my lilac situation! Pretty card, Lin. I like the twine!

What a beautiful card Lin - and how frustrating that you could never achieve a similar display of plants again.
