Color Isolation

Here's a card I made to enter this week's PTI Make it Monday challenge.

supplies: white and slate cardstock, PTI The Sweet Life and Simon/Hero Arts Prayers, Hero Arts Swiss Dots background, Charcoal and a paler grey ink, Winnie & Walter Audrey Cutaways, Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares

I pretty much followed Ashley's example for my design, but added some swiss dots to the background.  It was fun to get out these lovely multi-step stamps again and use them!

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Love this card and how the rose just seems to "pop." And I agree with the previous post - the swiss dots really set it off. Beautiful!

Love how you created the BG for this stunning card using one of the floral layer images as well as the Polka Dot BG, Lin.

What a beautiful idea using the inside of the flower as your background stamp! just the right amount of neutral color to bring your beautiful rose to life!

Really beautiful card. I love how you just used one layer of the stamps for the flowers from the Sweet Life set as your background along with the swiss dots. Wow - looks fantastic!
