supplies: watercolor paper, ivory card base, Simon's Roses for You clear stamp set, Spectrum Aqua Floral and Zig Clean Color markers in shades of pink and green
I simply stamped the individual flowers and leaf sprigs along a lightly-pencilled heart shape, then erased the pencil lines and watercolored the design. After stamping my sentiment from the same set, I splattered some of the inks (a little too exuberantly, maybe?), and let the panel dry before attaching it to my card base.
I am loving this stamp set - it may be the source of most of my Valentines for this year!

I love the roses in the heart wreath shape. Very pretty! It is hard to do one layer cards with watercolor paper, I usually do a layer like you did here.
Hi Lin! Very playful with the ink splatters!
Darling wreath design! The ink splatter really are lovely touches! Beautifully done, Lin!
So pretty! Love the details on your card. :)
What ink pad do you use for black? Love this card! And I love this set.
So pretty, love the splats.
Really pretty card Lin - love how you have used the flowers to create a shape.
Blessings
Maxine
So pretty Lin, must give this idea a go, it really works brilliantly. The little splatters really finish it off perfectly.
This wreath just makes me happy! SWEET card Lin!
Beautiful custom built wreath, Lin - so pretty :-0
